Teaching philosophy
I teach on various topics related to environmental sustainability through a combination of hands-on quantitative analysis and systems thinking. My aim is to help students connect scientific methods with practical sustainability challenges and develop the skills to critically evaluate environmental policies and resource management strategies.

Earth System Science and Analysis
M.Sc. Industrial Ecology
This course analyses the Earth system through 4 spheres (biosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere), and highlights the importance of the carbon, nutrient, and water cycles for life on our planet.
The course combines lectures with Python programming
M.Sc. Thesis Supervision
I’ve supervised close to 50 M.Sc. thesis throughout my career as both first and second supervisor. I typically supervise 5 theses per year. I’m always happy to entertain new thesis ideas in the following topics:
